"Excellent Hotel, very clean & uptogether, Staff were courteous, very good options for breakfast, a very good experience all round. The only thing not quite so good was the parking. Its not well signposted and you have to park on the 8th floor of a multistorey car park next door, which then takes you straight into the hotel - when you find that out it is fine."

"Attended a wedding while staying at the hotel. There is plenty of parking for every guest It’s in a great location, which allows us the night before the wedding to take a quick drive into town to grab a bite to eat. The wait staff at the hotel dinning, bar, and reception were outstanding. However, because there were so many guests in a short period of time, the breakfast could be a little chaotic. I was given a peaceful upgraded room. I would be delighted to return here."

"Have used this hotel (use word hotel loosely) in the past & yes it has looked tired for a long time. I stupidly thought that as it was not available to book for a long period some upgrading may have taken place. How naive of me. Checked in at reception & our room had been changed. Not a good start as both me & my partner have mobility issues. Change of room then necessitated a steep set of stairs. Have plenty of photographs showing a lack of cleanliness of room. No housekeeping, dirty cleaning cloth left in bathroom sink along with a spoon. Window that did not close, bathroom was not very clean. Only one drinking cup, no bath mat (had to use hand towel). On day of departure at 09:35 there was a knock on room door quickly followed by someone tapping the door"

"Impossible to contact hotel-tried for over an hour before eventually getting through on a mobile. Restaurant closed. Have to book in via online system no more than 3 hours beforehand to get access to car park and room including govt approved documents-I was driving down from Manchester so impossible to do before arriving-expected to park on road to do so! MAJOR road! Customer service utterly useless/refused to pass me on to a manager! Online systems didn’t work for booking anyhow. Didn’t stay in the end ( total loss of confidence in hotel/staff/ systems etc.) went somewhere else. SHOCKING!"
