"What a great hidden gem. We were so delighted to find that this hotel had a very comfortable room with a little private garden for our 2 dogs. The owner was so helpful, even receiving an Amazon package for us and advising of its arrival. The food was great with gigantic servings. Large restaurant & beer garden with tables assigned for hotel guests at breakfast which was good for social distancing. It would be great for kids too. Very cozy spot and a great value."

"The addition of the guest room was a nice touch. Games and tables available. Additionally drinks could be purchased for a reasonable price on an honesty system.
Expedia allowed us to book after hours and we were almost unable to access the hotel. The owner was kind and explained about closing time. Expedia should not have allowed the booking after hours. The only reason we got in is because the owner lives at this site!"

"The truble with this hotels is that they hire people with horrible customer service. I have 3 months straight working and traveling in Germany and this is the first hotel that I found with very unpleasant conversation and the result is was that i was worried and unsafe for the stay. But we were very disappointed when we saw our room, as we had paid extra for a mountain view room, there was construction in front of the hotel, which meant from our balcony we could not see the view (see photo 1). We complained at reception (I hate complaining and felt awkward having to do this) and were immediately offered a different room, without any question, which made me think that they must already know that the room did...
