"Check in was very busy, food hit and miss, part of a wedding party the night before for food, waited over an hour for food. Ordered a Sunday lunch, turkey very dry, it was later in the day probably about 7.40pm before I was served.

"Had a lovely stay at the Wild Pheasant when attending a concert in Llangollen Pavillion. It's about 10 minutes walk into Llangollen and about the same to the Pavillion. All staff encountered were really friendly and helpful. Room was lovely, clean and spacious. More available electric sockets in room would have been good

"One night stay following a day at Chester Zoo. Relaxing to have a swim/sauna after walking round for several hours. Good bar food -enjoyed my steak ciabatta which arrived speedily despite a school prom being held in another room at the time, staff remained pleasant and efficient throughout.
