"I found the hotel very pleasant but slightly dated in the Entry and hallways. The rooms were a very good size, well appointed and updated.The surrounding area was interesting, a nice area to go for an evening walk and the cafe by the cathedral had an amazing food selection.Hotel staff was excellent. The bad part was 32 degrees C and the Air conditioning did not work, my first room was 27C and the second one only got down to 24 C. breakfast was good and was a serve yourself German style...

"This hotel was probably very nice 30 or 40 years ago but quite tired. Staff is minimal and I waited for over 30 minutes to checkin. Then went down to use the spa at 1800 and no people were around. No towels. Another guest said after 1800 it was necessary to go to the front desk for towels. No staff around for another 30 minutes. Several of the spa facilities were shutdown or not functioning. The whole reason I went to this hotel was that it was rated as 4 star!! It was far from a 3...

"This is a beautiful place. Gorgeous landscaping, plenty of places to sit or walk the trails. Very clean. We didn't like the shower in our room, and there were quite a few stairs to our elevator which was difficult with luggage. I really would have stayed longer if we could. The pool was nice and I had a good massage. "
