"Hotel Grao Vasco is truly a historic hotel. Pedro from sales gave a very friendly guided tour of the property and spoke with us about the wonderful past that Hotel Grao Vasco has. This is stylish sixties but maintained beautifully and still run by the family that built the hotel. Go to Viseu and enjoy! The hotel had comfortable beds, it is centrally located near the old city center and the staff was very welcoming. Pedro in particular was kind, helpful and proud of the hotel. It was refreshing...

"Comfortable hotel. The staff were kind and attentive. We parked just outside the hotel on the street and it was very cheap. Also a good location to walk around the city"

We had breakfast and dinner in the buffét restaurant, very nice both meals. Nice and very friendly staff, but they did not speak english - with one exception only.
The rooms were nice, but a bit worn. Long time to wait for the hot water in the shower. Poor ventilation."
