"Old place and the House is worn out. Bad food in the only restaurant that was open (during off season things are low, and we had to drive 15 km to another city to find a decent restaurant). The open facilities where good and so was the service."

"We spent a family holiday here. Nice location just by Meiervik. We are satisfied with everything. Superb SPA with both indoor and outdoor pool. The breakfast was perfect. Great selection and high quality. The overall service level is really 5 Star. I was expecting a little bit more from the kitchen, might be that we stayed during a July when most restaurants have season workers. BUT it made up by their incredible wine list. If you are into good wines. This hotel is heaven. "

"There are major problems with this listing The wellness facilities were all unavailable during our stay. It was not made clear that we would be charged for electricity and water. The amount we had to pay was iunbeluevalbly high, adding half as much as the hotel fee on top, plus linen charge. We could not use the jacuzzi, as it was filthy,; we did not use the sauna; we turned down all the radiators as we bought logs for the fire. So, it is difficult to see how the energy bill for our actual use...
