Breakfast was good. Had hot food also cereal available. Rooms are good sized and clean. Staff was very friendly, helpful. The seating area around the outdoor pool was great. I will be honest pool was a little on the small size but was excellent for the kids. La Quinta was in an excellent location near restaurants and stores.

The room was filthy and had not been cleaned. My kids ended up going back to my daughter’s dorm to sleep as the room was disgusting. I ended up staying only one night and driving back home instead of staying the second night. Would definitely never stay here again.

Good spot, a cut above most in the price range. The included breakfast was great, had nice sausage medallions, biscuits & gravy, eggs, waffles, plus the usual stuff. Comfortable bed!

Staff were warm and welcoming. Room was great and well appointed. Bed was comfortable. On the down side, the elevator not working when we were ready to leave in the morning was a huge problem. I use a walker, so you can imagine how difficult it was to manoeuvre down a flight of stairs.

The room was hotel are in need of a complete restoration. Our room was old looking, it did not have any blinds to block out the street lights at night, all it had was a white see through curtain so it was very light as though it were daytime. The ac unit didn’t work when we got there and I had to get help. The guy helping me asked if I’d reset the unit which I didn’t know how to do, he ended up on his hands and knees under the desk and got it to reset. Then acted like I a 63 year old could have done that myself. We have used this chain in the past and have had good experiences so that’s why we booked it, big mistake in Helena.
