15-minute walk to the hotel from 33 st. subway station. Hotel provides shuttle. So convenient. Person at front desk is kind and they will ask for your feedback when checking out. Breakfast is great, and u can enjoy Starbucks coffee during your stay. Hotel room is small but is very clean.

This hotel was close enough to the event I was attending that it looked like a great option for the price. However, buyer beware. The special rate we received was for a good reason that was undisclosed to us even after checkin. The entire hotel's phone and internet was down. So not only could you not call from your room but you can't call the hotel […] AT ALL. it says disconnected. and the WiFi / internet was not working at all which was a major problem. I was very upset trying to reach the front desk to find out information about check out since the conference was going to be running later than 11am. but we had to leave the event early rush to the hotel and upon telling the front desk the situation they just kind of nodded and said "Yeah we know, time warner is supposed to fix it". exceeded expectations. transportation tip: walk on Van Dam and cross under LI expressway. within a few short blocks you're sure to find a cab on the street. Maybe not great at night, but really good in daytime.

Everything was perfect, except the location, even tough, the hotel provided car service to the subway station, however, the return was not provided due to telephone problems. I would recommend to stay in this hotel.Thank you.

Room was smaller than I was lead to believe. The wifi was on and off for my laptop and didn't work at all on my girlfriend's. The issue took a chunk of our day. "Manhattan view" was of a cemetery and a junk yard and a partial view of the brick wall of another part of the building... it was good. my room was clean and comfortable. i used the shuttle to the train everyday of my stay. theres not much of restaurants or shopping center around the hotel but the train is not far station inear the hotel is not far from times square manhattan or the queens mall.

The quality of the hotel was great and the staff very attentive. I've stayed in other nearby brands and know you can trust Fairfield. Parking at this location is limited. For a handicap person, although there are designated spaces, they are either taken by persons without a permit or crowded in so close that realistically they are not functional. I didn't spend much time at the hotel as I was in the city most of the time, but let me tell you, the free shuttle to the subway station that this hotel offers was very helpful. They will even pick you up if you give them a call. There is also a bus stop just a few blocks away that is very easy to walk to. The free breakfast was also very good. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The price is reasonable. The hotel has shuttle to the nearby subway station which gets you to Time Square in 20 minutes. We had excellent experience with this hotel. Highly recommended.

Staff and rooms were great. Only complaint was that the shuttle back to the hotel took a good 45 minutes to come pick us up, but only one time. Perfect place to say for a good price. I don't recommend walking around to late near the place, though. Cab back from times square was around $15.

Everything in the hotel was awesome! The staff is nice and the coffee is available 24 hours a day which i really liked! I dont recommend relying on the shuttle to take you to the train station or pick you up though. I waited for an hour and a half at the train station after i called to be picked up. Staff was very friendly and smiling! Arrived very late and only interested in a shower and sleep, but the lobby was clean and the room was outstanding..There was no close restaurants or etc., but the very nice desk clerk quickly provided me witha menu for a diner who delivered..Overall, for the the price, I feel I got a steal!!!

The hotel is located in an eerie neighborhood. It's surrended by warehouses and workshops. Not the fanciest in NY! But... it suited me well: I was on a business trip, had a car to park and loads of equipment to store for several days. This was a great stay for us in Brooklyn. The hotel was lovely and the staff very attentive and very friendly. Continental breakfast was way above average. Parking was minimal but the staff helped us find a place to squeeze the car in each night when we came back.
