In typical fashion, those hotel room air conditioners are noisy, and this was no exception. Also, I hate having only a sheet and a heavy duvet. Needed a light blanket for when the monsoon a/c came on. But got sweaty if we turned down the temp! Otherwise, VERY clean, good breakfast, Very good service. GREAT value.

A couple of negatives about the hotel. Firstly, one member of staff seemed to lack enthusiasm when I asked whether a parcel had arrived. I had to check with the retailer who at the hotel, had signed for the package and only then did this person at reception make any effort to find it. Secondly, the breakfast is dreadful. We stayed one night after our flight before getting to our destination. Overall very nice. The gym was decent as was the free hot breakfast. Nice room and courteous staff. Near the airport and not a lot in the neighborhood, but we were not looking for anything around us.

way over priced rooms small need to reevaluate rates only stay because of holiday weekend and nothing else available says a story you being the only one with vacancy I will plan ahead better next time so I don't get ripped off.

Wonderful staff. Great shuttle service to strip, airport, and shops. Breakfast starts at 6:00 am, but staff knows there are lots of early flights and serve starting before 5:30... for that first cup and roll. THANKS

I stayed only for one night on my way to Great Canyon, the rooms are great. I arrived late at night and I was able to order pizza delivered to the room at 1 AM. The pool is great, compared to other pools on the Strip, it is actually heated. Good selection for breakfast. Great staff. I would stay again anytime and most probably will return.

We have stayed in this hotel several times. It has a good location...very near the airport, 5 minutes to The Strip, and one minute to Sunset Park. For a dog owner Sunset Park is a wonderful resource. Even if you have no dog Sunset Park is a terrific place to visit. I recommend this hotel.

I was traveling with my family on a business trip, and wanted a two- room type suite. By looking at the photos, and based on the names of the different room types presented, I was confident that is what I would get. But I did NOT. The rooms are of the small, standard type. I love La Quinta hotels. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfy. They have complimentary breakfast which was nice. Plus they had a shuttle that took us to the strip back and forth for free!

We got the second floor first and we kept hearing a dog barking so we went to tell the reception told them that there was a dog on our floor they told us only the first floor had pets allowed so they told us to go to the […] third floor no pets there. Nice mid-range hotel. I was upgraded to a higher end room and it was a five star room! Bed was very comfortable, Pillows were down, 1/2 again the size of the average hotel room. I booked this hotel to get away from the hustle and bustle on the Strip. I was a bit worried about being so close to the airport but it was not an issue. I did not notice the planes at all. I will definitely go back there. My best hotel experience so far in Vegas in 20 years.

Staff were helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Pets are welcome. Restaurant referrals were good. Airplane sounds were apparent but not disturbing. Sounded like snowplows which we were happy to know they were planes instead.

Overall the hotel was only OK. I was frequently dropped from the internet so trying to get some work done was challenging. Also, my television didn't work on local channels at all. This is an exceptional high quality La Quinta, it's great value. We needed a Pet Friendly Las Vegas hotel for an overnight stop on a road trip - this hotel was a great choice. It's a few miles off the strip, but their shuttles work well leaving on the hotel on the hour. The staff are attentive and ensure great customer satisfaction.

As all dog lovers who have pooches that weigh more than 20 pounds know, finding a place to stay with your med/large dog can be a challenge. They are hardly welcome anywhere, and if they are there is an exorbitant fee. I have thoroughly researched pet options in Las Vegas and unless you feel like spending $250 +, the LQ Airport South is your best bet. […] The hotel is fairly new (2010 I think), the rooms are very clean, and the whole place is smoke free. Free wifi, mini fridge and coffee maker in the room, free parking, and the rooms are huge. Literally the only downside is not being near the Strip but that may not be a downside for everyone and there are no crazy lines or resort fees like on the strip.
