This is a cute little property off the beaten path. Lots of tico places to eat in the area but you need a car. We don’t recommend the seafood place across the highway though. Breakfast was amazing, especially the homemade bread and condiments. The laminated note in the room about not getting sand in the beach towels was a little odd!

The room is very clean and well maintained. Staff is nice and friendly. Lettika is a wonderful woman who is always willing to help us. Our room had an outdoor sunroom-like space with screened walls, which made it feel open and connected to nature while still feeling safe and comfortable. Sitting on the sofa, birds would come right in front of me, and it was such a peaceful and enjoyable experience.

We enjoyed our stay at Jardin over Christmas. The room was perfectly sized for two people. We appreciated the air conditioning at night and the bed was comfortable. Plus, how can you go wrong when there are sloths and monkeys near you! The breakfast is outstanding! Don't miss it. We had activities planned each day while we stayed and it was a great location to keep driving each day to a reasonable amount of time. We went diving/snorkeling in Uvita, hiking in Manuel Antonio, and white water rafting with Rafiki Lodge. There were a lot of really great restaurants near by too. The staff was wonderful! If you are looking for a quiet area to stay in, search no further!

We loved our stay here! It is close enough to the major attractions that you do not feel like you are missing out but with enough distance to feel restful and separate. The staff is incredibly kind, accommodating, and hospitable; the BnB is quaint and comfortable; and all the amenities were present, with a personal touch. We hope to return! If you are looking for a place to stay near Dominical CR this is the place. I wish we had stayed here the whole time we were in Costa Rica. The hosts, room, pool, beach were all amazing. We were fortunate to stay in the upstairs suite, and were greeted by monkeys at our window our first morning! Lettika and Gijs who own the place were so friendly, providing us with great breakfasts and suggestions on reasturants and activities. Thank you for everything.

Can I give at least 11 points? :). Everything was great. Lattika and her husband runs this place perfectly. Every little details are taken care of. Beautiful little gem close to the beach. Everything was absolutely perfect from the moment we arrived. We were greeted by Lettika who gave us a tour of the B&B and introduced us to the onsite sloth lounging in the tree. She was always available for any questions. Our room was gorgeous and very clean with a beautiful screened patio. We were able to walk to the beach within 3 min and ran across a group of Macaws munching on almonds in a tree along with monkeys. The property is absolutely beautiful and the continental breakfast was our favorite breakfast during our entire vacation. The homemade bread, jams, and salsas are divine! I hope we can one day return to Jardin de los Monos! Thank you Lettika!

Before I begin, this review is from the point of view of two females in their 30’s not traveling with kids: This bed and breakfast was simply amazing. The area was safe and quiet, with a beautiful beach walking distance and a market and restaurant 5 minutes away. There were lots of wildlife around including sloths, monkeys, macaws, squirrels, hummingbirds, and lots more. Lettika was an amazing host, she made us feel truly welcomed, any questions we had or anything that was needed was a simple message away or she was usually on site. The breakfast was delicious and fulfilling and they truly made you feel at home. The room was spacious, clean at all times, the AC worked really well and there was hot water. The pillows and beds were comfortable. The patio had a hammock and plenty of space to relax after all our adventures (wearing bug spray is a must outside!) we rented a car and it was the wisest decision we made as we had freedom to roam around and public transportation is a long walk from the bed and breakfast. If we had a choice to come back, we would pick this bed and breakfast with no questions asked.

Wir haben bei Lettika und Teddy eine wunderbare Zeit gehabt. Das Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt. Der Strand ist in unmittelbarer Nähe und bietet wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge. Unser Zimmer war klasse, mit einer großen Terrasse, alles sehr sauber, das Bett bequem, das Bad großzügig, alles neuwertig. Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Von hier aus lassen sich viele Ausflüge unternehmen (Manuel Antonio, Uvita, Refugio Nacional de Vida Silvestre Hacienda Barú, Cataratas Nauyaca, etc.). Wir haben hier mehr Tiere gesehen als in den Nationalparks. Eine absolute Empfehlung. Wir waren 3 Nächte zu Gast und würden beim nächsten Mal einen längeren Aufenthalt einplanen.

Belle expérience au Costa Rica

Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce B&B. Nous avons eu un accueil très convivial avec beaucoup d’attention, une présentation de l’hôtel, des informations sur les choses à voir. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons eu la chance de voir beaucoup d’oiseaux (aras, toucans…), des singes devant l’hôtel et même une maman paresseux avec son petit tout en haut d’un arbre. La plage est très proche de l’hôtel, c’est une très belle plage mais il faut faire attention aux courants. Le petit déjeuner nous a été servi par Lettika, propriétaire des lieux. Très sympathique et qui nous a bien aidées pour notre visite suivante (les cascades de Nauyaca). On serait bien restées plus longtemps !
