" The Hotel El Arz's management does not deserve 1/5. We arrived at the hotel late. We asked for the room that we reserved and paid for through hotels.com. When we arrived at the reception, they told us they don’t accept online payments. The only thing they accept is cash. We asked to speak with the manager. He gave us her name (Mme Maouche) and phone number. Meanwhile, I called hotels.com and asked them to contact Hotel El Arz to prove that we made a reservation . Hotels.com tried to contact the hotel's manager (Mme Maouche) twice. She cut them off and did not want to answer the calls. They let us go to the room, and we were told we would be contacted by Mme Maouche. We waited very late at night. NO calls. She ignored us completely. That was a very stressful night. The next day, in the morning, the receptionist told us that the payment was accepted without any explanation. We asked for the manager. They just told us that the manager is not available. The manager (Mme Maouche) is gone to Algiers. Worst experience ever. Be very worried and prepared before you reserve this hotel, online. "
