"Think “Disney meets Las Vegas” in the Caribbean - crowded, chaotic, and overwhelmingly geared toward families. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing, adult getaway, this is absolutely not the place!
The resort was packed with kids everywhere, and there was zero sense of calm or serenity at any point during our 5-night stay. It felt more like an amusement park than a luxury resort.
To make matters worse, we lost an entire day of our vacation due to an injury caused by the lounge chairs. They are cheaply made and packed so tightly together that there’s virtually no space to move safely. This resulted in a trip to the local hospital—completely unacceptable for a resort at this price point.
Speaking of cost—everything is overpriced. You’ll pay premium prices across the board, yet the experience doesn’t match.
Dining was hit or miss. Marcus Fish + Chop House was excellent and a standout meal. However, most dining options came with long lines, and dinner reservations are absolutely necessary if you want to eat! Pizza Lab was an absolute disaster when it rained all day. We stood in line for 45 minutes for takeout, only to be told at the register that they had stopped making pizzas. No warning, no communication—just a huge waste of time.
Overall, despite the variety of amenities and food choices, the overcrowding, lack of relaxation, safety concerns, and high prices made this a disappointing experience. We all agreed—this is not a place we would ever choose to return to."
"Amenities are always great at the Atlantis, the casino, aquarium, rides, shops, all a good experience. Rooms at the royal are pretty outdated, very old rug, very old shower curtain, which made it kind of uncomfortable to shower, old bathroom in general. Service in general was good/average."
