The romantic city of Albufeira is full of attractions, such as Albufeira Old Town Square and Falesia Beach, and is loved for its beaches and restaurants.
If you're planning a bit of sightseeing head to Albufeira Old Town Square— just one of the monuments in Albufeira Old Town. Hotels.com travelers also say the area is relaxing and has lots of nice beaches.
Rossio Square is worth passing through for a few pics when in Lisbon City Center. Our travelers also like this historical area for its riverfront setting.
Whether you want to collect beach glass or watch the sunset, Falesia Beach is one of the most popular seaside spots located 6.4 mi (10.4 km) from central Albufeira. If you want to continue walking by the waves, head to Marina Beach, Vilamoura Beach, and Rocha Baixinha Beach, located nearby.
You can browse for souvenirs when you visit Avenida da Liberdade, a popular shopping spot in Santo Antonio. Discover the charming cafes in this family-friendly area, or seek out the local tours.
Explore the waterfront of Vilamoura Marina and enjoy other activities such as golfing in Quarteira. Stroll along the beautiful beaches in this relaxing area, or check out its lively bars.
You can learn about the history of Cedofeita, Santo Ildefonso, Sé, Miragaia, São Nicolau e Vitória with a trip to Porto Historic Center. While you're in the area, stroll along the waterfront.
"We stayed there for 9 nights and were generally very satisfied with our stay in this hotel. The breakfast was excellent, the bathroom perfect, the rooms cleaned every day, the facilities in the gym available, the staff friendly... The only two (rather minor) complaints are (1) the lack of storage space in the room (there is no place where we could put our empty travel bags or the excess bedding), and (2) the occasional problems with the elevator (we stayed at the 13th floor and sometimes, especially in the morning, we had to wait too long for the elevator to take us to the ground floor). However, these minor drawbacks would not be the reason not to book this property again. Our overall impression is very positive and we would recommend this hotel to anybody looking for a very decent and good-value-for-money place to stay in Lisbon, especially considering the breakfast option and the location of the property (i.e., its proximity to the airport and the Arreiro metro and train stations)."
"Gym was fabulous
Staff was exceptional in the hotel itself was absolutely beautiful. But very comfortable and they turned down. Service was outstanding."
