The hotel was in Old Town Munich. Excellent restaurants steps away. The breakfast was amazing. Loved the bedding and how clean the room was. Absolutely a great choice to stay.

I loved my experience staying here for Oktoberfest. It is such a relaxing place to come to after the craziness of the festival. Easy walk to the train station made everything accessible. Lastly, Claudia and Michelle were super friendly and helpful.

This was our first stop on our 2.5 week European Honeymoon. We spent two nights here and we wanted to stay longer. We wanted to stay longer simply due to the staff. These people are amazing. We stayed with our adult children at the Hotel Obermaier during Octoberfest. It was all that we had hoped for. It is a traditional hotel with a good restaurant attached. It is convenient by Metro to downtown Munich. It is much more reasonably priced than closer-in hotels. Our room and bathroom were comfortable. The breakfast was unbelievably generous and delicious. We will definitely stay at the Hotel Obermaier if we are fortunate enough to return to Munich, particularly during Octoberfest.
This hotel was perfect to stay for 2 nights for Oktoberfest. The location is extremely convenient - less than a 3 minute walk to the entrance of Oktoberfest. The room is pretty small, but served its purpose as we spent most of the time outside our hotel room anyway.
Simply perfect. I'm gonna say best value for any hotel. Love the room design themed on a painter. Everything was brand new, super clean and 100% working. Front desk people are funny and delightful.
The location is great if you want to explore the old town. The direct neighborhood around the station is a little funky but it's diverse and fun.
