The room we had was an as advertised 129sqft. Small by western standards, but workable for two travelers. The location near the south gate of Akabane was really convenient. For a friendly and authentic experience, check out the standing Izakaya that is just across the side street from the hotel.

Bit far from other hotels within Tokyo, and it takes a transfer at Nishi-Nippori to access a lot of the JR lines, but it's an excellent hotel stay if you need a bit more quiet compared to other places.

I felt very safe and seen when I was at the hotel. The front desk staff is amazing and super quick with serving their guests. The area around the hotel was great and easily walkable. I will definitely be back at this hotel in the near future!!
