"Fantastic location and sense of being in a special place. Room was in annexe but that was fine, just a short walk across car park, and was reasonably spacious with efficient lift. Staff could not have been more helpful whether cheerfully bringing more tea at breakfast or dealing helpfully with enquiries at reception. If coming by car, parking seems tricky. We had to go to nearby paid (£5 for 24 hours) car park but we're fortunate to get a hotel space on day 2. Swimming pool is a great extra facility, especially when quiet "

"Wow. Amazing to find a Hotel like that in the middle of nowhere. While the decor is dated, the staff and food were great. We didn’t see any squirrels- which was a bit disappointing. Great walks around the area."

"Arrived late for a overnight stay after a holiday away was checked in quickly and efficiently by night porter id phoned ahead to tell them I’d be arriving after midnight room was fine bed really comfortable"

"The room was ideal, clean and facilities great. The breakfast we had was a buffet style and was excellent,the area was well stocked. Afternoon and evening food was also of good quality as was the bar selection. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and dealt with any help we required. I would definetly stay in this Hotel again.
