The room is clean n spacious. Don’t like the tap. In today advancements the sink tap need to change to a mixer tap. Not the old fashioned tap hot n cold separate taps.

Just how a property should be, homely, friendly and clean. Great stop over for us on our way to Scotland Service was excellent and would highly recommend. We will definitely stay again

Great location and the staff are lovely. Food is delicious and excellent value with generous portions. Room and bathroom were nice and clean. Perfect for overnight stay. We make Penrith a regular stop now in our way to Scotland and the Agricultural Inn is where we stay.

Excellent spot and good value for money. The room was excellent with a beautiful en suite and it was dog friendly. The staff was excellent and super helpful.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was superb. The staff were friendly and helpful. Had lunch when we arrived and it was very good. There was a slight problem with the toilet flush but it was fixed right away and they offered a free breakfast as a compensation. This was more than most places would do and we appreciated the offer. In the morning neither of us fancied any breakfast, just had some free orange juice but others were having breakfast and they were definitely enjoying some huge full English fare. Very handy for the train station and a short walk to central Penrith.

Staff friendly. Room tired and bed saggy and uncomfortable. Music from bar VERY loud and audible in room - went on until midnight. No chance of sleeping. Wanted to check out at 8.45am, breakfast was supposed to be served at 9, NO ONE available. Bar area locked, knocked on all doors marked private, no one around, couldn't check out. Poor servive.

Noisy pub. The landlord did his best on a busy night but it is still a room above a pub with loud music downstairs. Good food. Handy to train and supermarket. The bed very uncomfortable unfortunately. Nobody around at checkout to mention this to. No parking. Had to park in the supermarket and couldn’t drag our bags over and up the stairs as we are not young people.

The Agricultural Inn was authentic, super friendly and comfortable. The pub and food were excellent. Our room and en suite bath were large with a comfortable bed and nice amenities. We are so happy that we chose this stay! Penrith was great too. Highest marks to the staff and owners at the Agricultural Inn! We hope to return and stay again.

Room ok but no breakfast

A town centre pub with limited parking. No breakfast available until the chef arrives at 9 so had to drive to find a breakfast somewhere else. If I had known that I wouldn’t have stayed there
