"We stayed at High Peaks Resort twice and had a lovely stay both times. We chose this hotel because it is dog-friendly, and we do not like to board our senior dog if we don't have to. It has a great location and beautiful views. The hotel provided a dog bed, dog bowls, and a cute bandana for our dog. The first time we stayed, we had a room on the first floor overlooking the pool with a door that opened directly to the grass outside, which was really convenient with our dog. The second time we booked too late and there were no first-floor rooms available. But I would recommend requesting a first-floor room with outdoor access if you stay with a dog. The views are beautiful (see photo), and you can easily walk to Main Street from the hotel. "

"Very beautiful location. Right by the lake. The hotel itself is very new and nice. It has a very nice restaurant. Plenty of parking. Conveniently located near many attractions. There are also fire pits right by the lake on the hotel’s property. I highly recommend!"
