Great people and very friendly. The English breakfast is huge, and extremely tasty. The bed was a little bit lumpy, and might need to be replaced soon, but I would stay with them again if I were to go to Royston again.
Absolutely gorgeous accommodation. Clean, comfortable, safe and modern rooms in a wonderful old ~1600s-1700s building giving a unique rustic flair. Fantastic location right in the heart of Ampthill (which is the most adorable little town), with plenty of restaurants, cafes and pubs nearby. Food and drink at the White Hart itself were fantastic. I stayed in two different rooms between two nights. Both were very comfy, although the second one - the single twin bed - did not have an air conditioning unit even though they did provide a fan. Reception was friendly and helpful, breakfast was good with eggs and hash browns I could eat as a vegetarian, and there were nice event spaces and a front patio as well. I was there for a friend's wedding that took place nearby and was happy this was the hotel she chose.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff was absolutely fantastic - professional, warm, and incredibly helpful.
A special mention to the front desk team Lucian, Diana, Zivile, Dennisa and Emma, were all exceptional and made my stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast was also excellent. Sue, Marisa and Joseph took care of my special requests. Excellent preparation by Chef Matt and Mary.

The shower had some remedial work to the tiles and had mastic smeared along the joints, black mould had started to accumulate
