The location is great, the staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast was a great mix of American food and Japanese food, the room feels both cozy and high-end (with slippers, pjs, and a tea kettle). For our family of five it worked very well. We really appreciated the five individual beds. We definitely recommend this hotel!"

"Supposedly a room fir 4 but that would have been very cramped.....it was fine for 2. One of those self check in places and all gad to be done online. We had glitches and no support. Good location. Very convenient to fave washer/dryer."

"Clean, comfortable and close to shopping district. Rooms are small but come with an excellent private bath. I stayed here 15 years ago and remember liking it more than the fancy $300 a night hotel room paid for by my employer for work nights. Now, if you need space or are traveling with children I probably wouldn't book but it is easily the best value for a comfortable room in all of Japan in my opinion. "

"Our host Yoshi and the staff at Toe Library were incredibly welcoming, offering us tips around the neighborhood and, when we left, a bag of delicious Japanese cookies. The room itself was cozy, well-appointed, and full of personality—and we especially appreciated that because we happened to be there during a typhoon and spent a lot of time lounging there as we waited for the worst of the storm to pass. This is a completely unique stay and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo."
