The Blue Hole....I've been amazed at the beauty I continue to find in TN, not that I didn't think the state was beautiful to start with, but you never imagine what you find in these state parks. Part of the Cumberland Plateau, Rock Island is framed by waterfalls and gorgeous rock formations. A perfect all day place to explore and relax as well. A word of caution, a dam is located within this park and dangerous waters are present at times.

"We have stayed in Cookeville several times and this was by far the best room we've ever had! Usually Holiday inn Express is too expensive for us but this time for some reason it wasn't. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. The kitchen for the breakfast was immaculate. They had a great variety of food. I just can't say enough about this hotel for the money. It's the beds are comfy. It was just great experience and we were there for a funeral so it made it much more enjoyable to have a good room. Thank you!"
