"The hotel has a lot of charm and a good location. It was clean and the shower water was hot (something not to take for granted in Ecuador). We had a billing issue that was resolved quickly with the help of our tour guide. We appreciated the hotel owner’s prompt response. The only issue of note was that the WiFi was not very good, it worked in the common areas but not very well in our rooms. Overall, a good experience."

"The hotel does not have access by car. Not even a passenger drop-off is allowed. We had to deal with the traffic police and walk two blocks and carry our bags in hands and park our car 5 blocks away. This should be properly communicated to everyone who wishes to stay here. The hotel cannot accomodate anyone who is not a backpacker. "
