My daughter and I stayed here in the middle of a 2 week trip through Italy. A perfect respite from the trains, planes and cars. We had Spa massages and spent some time in the Lagoon. Lagoon, maybe overrated, but the massage was the best I've had in my 56 years! A bit of moist mold on one of the walls in the room needed to be pointed out to the staff. I'm sure it was fixed immediately. Probably happened because someone spent hours in the incredible shower with room for at least 4 people. Pleasure...
We were a bit nervous reserving a hotel over the web in an area with which I had little experience, but our stay at Hotel Arcangelo was fantastic! Just by points to cover the basics: The hotel is literally 5 minutes via taxi from Taranto's central train station, or 10 Euros. If you're back packing, it's about 1 kilometer straight across the bridge from the train station. It's not an easy hotel to see as it's nestled back from a short piazza, but you can find it readily enough. The staff was...
Excellent staff - Georgia and Julia are so incredibly helpful and wonderful. Location is perfect and the suite was spacious and so comfortable!!! I would stay there again anytime!!!
Luigi and staff were very friendly, helpful and available. The breakfast was terrific. The room was cleaned every day. The breakfast room was inviting. It was fun to talk with others there. Very walkable location. We had no problem finding free street parking within a few blocks. There were many good eating options. It was too hot in August to use the roof garden, but it would be lovely at other times of the year.
Wonderful stay. The room was nice and ours felt secluded, which is what we wanted. We had a small pool and the main pools were also nice. The main lobby/ reception/ restaurant were very nice and the restaurant itself had great food for breakfast and dinner. There isn’t much around the hotel, or we didn’t know much, so we ended up eating at the restaurant multiple times. Each time was great, but would recommend a little pre-trip planning for meals if you’re not familiar with the area. Overall,...
The best place we have stayed so far on our one month trip to Italy. Chiara at reception as well as all of the employees could not be more helpful. Pina our server is being applauded on Facebook!!! This is the by far the best chef of any of Our vineyard stays. This place is beautiful and the best value. We are planning on returning.
