It was a downpour by the time we got to the lobby, but one of the staff saw us coming and met us with dry towels at the door! It was so thoughtful! And that was just the start of great service. "Highly recommend the Hotel Sunroute Niigata. It is convenient to the train station with many bars, parking options and restaurants nearby. Google translate the street parking lots if you don't use the hotel garage. Some have deals with the hotel where you pay a lower rate for overnight parking. I had great service from the hotel staff who helped me with figuring that out and saving a lot of money. We really enjoyed our visit to Niigata and Hotel Sunroute was the right place for us! "
