The hotel is situated in the country, near tall trees and grape vines, convenient to hiking in that part of Madeira. The views were lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly. For the 3 of us, the room was a bit crowded, but okay.

Clean room with beautiful natural surroundings. Two pools, Rose garden, free glass of wine, free parking, a nice free breakfast at the restaurant across the streetwhere we also had a nice dinner. The lady at the reception desk was friendly.
The Hotel had a shuttle to and from the old town of Funchal which was convenient. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. This was the cleanest and most user friendly place that we have stayed at. I would recommend this Hotel to every one .
The level of service, courtesy and kindness demonstrated by the staff was the best I have ever experienced anywhere! The facilities were lovely, very clean, and spacious. Amazing staff with a great location only a few blocks away from the main city center. The pool on the roof has an amazing view for days where you’d like to take a break and relax. The breakfast is solid. Make sure to reserve parking as there are limited spots!!!

The pool on the roof is heated (so they say, but I guest they mean with solar panels). In the end of october it was 25 degrees and water was around 22.
Wonderful property, a great choice for rest and relaxation! The staff were incredible and we were given a free upgrade (a huge room with seaview) upon check-in. The resort has everything you could need but is close enough to shops/restaurants in Lido, we even walked to Old Town for dinner. The breakfast was great, the dinner buffet was missable but a nice option if you want something easy and close. Highly recommend!

Room was basic and comfortable. You can hear everything from coridor. You have to pay 5€ pp for spa. Breakfast was very good. People at reception was very friendly and helpful. :)
We stayed in this hotel for 3 days in mid July. The hotel is wonderfully situated with views of the sea and/or the garden from many rooms and nice facilities. It's a very pretty property with secure parking and a lovely lobby. The old town is a bit far away, if you're walking, but the promenade is just down the hill and you can walk in each direction.
While I did love staying in this hotel, there were two drawbacks.
