and excellent restaurant.
Immaculately clean and beautiful lobbies and gardens, this is the perfect hotel to escape the crazy business of the city. It's a little bit further out, but still only £5 in an uber to the centre (25-30 mins) and £8 to the airport. This also makes it a very peaceful and tranquil haven.
Recommend without hesitation.

"When I first entered the room I was assigned, there was a strong odor coming from the bathroom. So, I requested a room change, and the new room had no issues. I stayed for five days, and while everything was clean, the food was delicious, and the staff were always friendly, you need to keep in mind that the hotel is located right next to a main road, so the noise from the traffic can be quite loud until 10 p.m. Although the hotel might be close to famous tourist spots, it's a bit disappointing...

"We stayed for 2 nights and our stay was very comfortable. We had breakfast included in the package so starting the day was a breeze with a good spread of buffet breakfast. The room was well equipped and comfortable with a comfy bed. The staff were attentive and responsive. Overall we had a great stay at this hotel."

"It is a beautiful elegant old hotel. The only problem was that it does not have heat and I visited during the cold part of winter. Ask them for a space heater when you arrive and they will give you one. It is a bit noisy as it is on a Main Street. But the rooms, dining area, included breakfasts, and the like were great. Fantastic coffee in the coffee/tea shop in the lobby."

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and the Oberoi made it so special- greeting us with a bouquet of 18 red roses, sending a delicious chocolate cake - and then when we returned to our room that evening, we walked into a bathtub filled with rose petals, and petals, candles and more flowers. The food was exquisite, the service over-and-above what we could expect. The hotel made us feel like royalty. "
