"We stayed in he hotel for 5 days. From the moment we arrived until we left the staff were very friendly and the the customer service was excellent. The staff made sure our stay was comfortable and nothing was too much to ask. We ate in the restaurant every night and tried many dishes from the menu. The food was excellent and could not fault any of the meals. Waiting staff, chef, front of house and bar staff well done. Very enjoyable holiday in lovely surroundings."

"All good. A little pricey at £168 for one night, but to be honest, it was a bank holiday weekend. Good location, really good food, friendly staff and clean. Old building, as to be expected, so you could hear all the creaks, bangs and TVs from the other rooms. Dog friendly which was perfect for us. Would stay again"

The hospitality was truly exceptional; the staff was warm, accommodating, and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. The entire property was immaculately clean and well-maintained. Traveling with our two boys and our dog can sometimes be challenging, but the comfortable and spotless environment made our stay completely stress-free. It was the perfect base for our trip to Snowdonia. We highly recommend this place...

"An excellent Guest House run by the ever helpful Jan, who keeps the whole house immaculate. Easy parking outside the house in quieter months and a short walk away in busy times with the supplied permit from Jan. The house is central inside the town walls and so only 5 mins walk to the Castle, shops and pubs. "
