Hotels in Summerlin South

"Mandalay Bay is an older hotel on the strip. We were there with our teen age kids on a spring break. We enjoyed the pool, the lazy river, and the shark aquarium. It’s convenient and close to the airport. "

"The property is beautiful. I found some of the staff at the restaurants to be rude and dismissive; especially at the buffet. I wouldn’t go back to eat there; the fact that you have to wait 45 minutes to get seated is not worth it, as the food is nothing special. "

"Our room was clean. The bed is the old mattress with a box spring that needs to be updated. No microwave or coffee maker in the room. That was a bummer. But the room was in great shape and the furniture was nice. The bathroom was big and the tub was a nice oversized tub. The casino itself is darker than what we like. We like the feel of the like the Venetian or Bellagio. They are more open and the atmosphere was nicer. We didn't care for the atmosphere in TI. I would stay again, just not hang out there. I would go to another casino to hang out. "

"Very convenient if you take the LV Monorail even though it’s on the north end of the strip. Like all LV Casinos, there is a lingering smell of cigarette smoke but overall, it’s not as strong as some of the other ones. There are two pools and they are decent but not party pools. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay and would book it again!"

"Hotel was wonderful. Clean but needed to be updated. Which they are doing some of the rooms. We had the go king strip view. 21st floor it was perfect. But a little dated. Could see everything, watch the Balagio water show, But yet quiet. Staff was great. "
