The hotel is a beautiful old building with a comfortable and inviting look. The staff was friendly and personable. It felt like I was staying at a friend's house. My room was spacious and well appointed with a comfortable bed, and a desk. Amenities included a fridge, microwave, TV, and a jacuzzi tub. A fantastic breakfast is included with your stay. Our room was fantastic, in suite bathroom. Family room & breakfast area was nicely set up, plenty of space. We had taken the time to walk the property, very relaxing, peaceful & tranquil. On our way out on Sunday we were able to purchase some vegetables and farm fresh eggs. I wish I new about this B&B years ago when my daughter was a freshman at ISU, we would have stayed her every time. The family, Peter & Denise were wonderful to speak with. This hotel is only about 4 months old so it is bound to be in great shape, but the staff was extremely friendly. Especially a young woman who worked Sunday morning at the breakfast buffet. She greeted everyone like she had known them for years! She was so natural and happy. That is not something you can teach. Great hire!

We enjoy staying at this property whenever we are in Ames visiting our college student daughter. The property is new, clean, well serviced and has Starbucks beverages and snacks in the cafe downstairs. It is located just off Duff Avenue, the major shopping and dining street in Ames, and is also close to several apartment complexes where students live. Parking is right outside the front door.

Clean, quiet, convenient to Iowa State University (10 mins away).

Parking was easy, safe, and there were plenty of spaces. The rooms were clean and the staff we interacted with were exceptional.

I return to Iowa every 2-3 years for reunions and this motel is my go to place to stay. The motel is always clean and the staff professional and friendly. The hot breakfast is above average for motels in this price range. The pool and hot tub are equipped with handicap lift chairs.

My family and I stayed for a fun weekend, and had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean, and large enough not to feel cramped. From check-in to check-out, the staff was pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast had something for all of us.

5 stars. Great stay. Convenient location to gas and food. Comfortable beds and room was clean except for the bathroom. Nice of them to allow dogs it was greatly appreciated on a long road trip. Coffee and breakfast was amazing!

Honestly this was one of the best hotels I think I have ever stayed at! The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever laid on! Breakfast was phenomenal. Super clean place. You guys are doing amazing

Excellent place to stay! Good location near ISU and los of amenities. Stayed in the 2Q suite. Large enough to have dining table. High ceilings. Larger bathroom. Super comfy single armchair. Quiet at night even on weekend. Very accommodating with our two dogs. The staff was fantastic! Helpful, kind and went the extra mile every time. Laundry facility and jacuzzi were awesome.
