Hotels in New Salem-Buffington

"The AC smelled like it had mold in it. There were multiple people with big dogs (pitbulls) in their rooms. Certain floors smelled like old socks in the carpet. The staff at times could be courteous. Other times they were short or would just stare awkwardly like you are doing something wrong. Positives, were the wide arrange of breakfast food. Alot of spaces to park in. The location was convenient to many amenities. It was worth all of the of the stars that it earned."

"Bath tub stains, toilet had odor and hallway walls had repair work in progress. Pool inaccessible as well. Breakfast was served from 6-9; I arrived at 7 to bacon so crispy it snapped and with only a few strips left. Potatoes undercooked and oversalted. Coffee that was lukewarm needed to nuke it in microwave right from dispenser. Certainly not like my Marriot chains but their availabity was full."

"Breakfast buffet is $5 and is very small. Coffee is horrible. Found a $100 fee was charged at checkout without notice. Tried to get in touch with the hotel to question it but they only use AI and I was cut off every time before being able to speak to someone."

"I visit Uniontown quite often to visit family and I've stayed at most of the hotels in the area. I slept better at the Hilton Garden Inn than any other hotel in Uniontown, PA. I don't know what kind of mattress magic they're doing over there but it's my go to hotel from now on. Beautiful, clean, quiet and great service too."

"Staff were all friendly and responsive to requests. Room was clean but window was always fogged up and wet. There was what looked like mold around it. It always felt humid in the room even though we had the a/c running. Breakfast was ok except the last day there we were told the stove broke down so there wasn't any eggs, sausage, etc. The tub needs replaced as you can see where it's been patched in several places."

"Robin at the front desk blatanly ignored me for 5-7 min while she was on her phone. She checked us into a dirty room. There was trash, food and crumbs all over the floor...1 towel, 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel, the tv didnt work, and upon returning to our room saturday evening our keys didnt work. It was absolutely a nightmare all weekend."
