The Swan Inn is a beautiful pub in a quiet country area with easy access to Cheddar. We loved the property and enjoyed our stay very much. We ate dinner one night and breakfast one morning and both meals were delicious. I’d highly recommend The Swan Inn if you’re looking for a quiet country stay in a lovely old pub.
This Inn is easily the best place I've stayed and I am saying that after having travelled to several countries within Europe, central and South America and the Caribbean. It is a very friendly atmosphere. The staff makes you feel like you are at home and welcomed with open arms. I have no criticism towards the Woodborough. Only too much praise. We were just passing through on our way to Cornwall so we only had one night here, and it was lovely. Clean and comfortable accommodations, great food (we had dinner and breakfast), and friendly and hospitable staff.
It was so quick and easy to walk to this hotel from the airport. The staff were cheerful and helpful, the bed was comfortable, the shower was good, and the air conditioning worked well!
A unique experience, totally in a good way. They've somehow retrofitted a 14th century building with modern amenities while maintaining its historic charm. Loved our suite! Staff was personable and professional. Great food as well! Little English flower garden in the back. Lovely place!
