This place was exquisite and we plan to return in the future. The staff was very helpful and delightful. The restaurant was outstanding for both breakfast (excellent buffet) and dinner (spectacular). The setting is beautiful and walking distance from Muckross Abby and Muckross House. The walking paths are tranquil and well kept. A beautiful place that we LOVED and highly recommend.
Check-in was quick, reception staff were very helpful. Room was a good size and had everything we needed. The breakfast had a good variety, no complaints.
Salmon Falls was lovely, we were a little sad to only be spending one night there (we drove a big loop through Ireland, so jumped between several hotels). They were very warm and inviting and friendly. Our room was comfortable and huge, could've fit multiples of some of the other rooms in it, particularly the bed was comfortable. The delicious breakfast is especially not to be missed.
From the outside it was lovely and very well kept and nice setting. The inside was also lovely and rooms lovely as well. Staff excellent. Location was a bit outside the main town but this proved an advantage being away from noise.
We just returned from Ireland and my opinion of this hotel is that the service and staff are as good as it gets. The bar is so nice and we made friends there every night which made it very fun. The rooms are smallish and nothing really special: mattress is great, pillows just okay. The location is perfect and you could walk to great restaurants, pubs & shopping without hearing the noise.
After staying in many hotels all around the country on our visit over 11 days, we found the Ross Hotel room to be the most special. Our room had a king bed, fireplace, sitting area and a spacious bath and closet area. Our view was a back alley and also a lovely side view of a church. Even though we could hear music from the downstairs businesses, our room was very comfortable and we slept well. We experienced an extra helpful and friendly front desk staff, especially Katrina. property was wonderful! Location is great for easy access to downtown area as well on the national park and Muckross property. Our room was absolutely beautiful with a full jacuzzi tub! Will definitely be booking here again!
Such a quietly elegant place. You feel like you are in Downton Abbey. The staff understands service and was gracious, helpful to a fault and friendly but never overbearing. The bathroom had a deep tub, heated towel rack and floor. It also had a terrace and a separate room as a closet. I was not in their best room but a mid-level room. There were many activities for both rainy and sunny days. This information is listed in the hotel manual. For example, you can go horseback riding or on a "jaunt"...
This B&B is beautiful with a warm and inviting atmosphere. While it is centrally located close to town and the Ring of Kerry, it is not too close that you are bothered by any noise unless the calming and soothing sound of a babbling brook is not to your liking. Our hostess was wonderful and sweet and the breakfast was delicious!!
A welcoming and warm staff. Excellent accommodations and most delicious food in the restaurant. Would not hesitate to stay at the beautiful Killeen House when visiting the area again. Highly recommend.
It was nice to be pampered and well attended after a few bnbs. We finished Dingle loop early so we arrived early. Room wasn't ready but was told about Killarney House and Gardens. Nice walk and tour. Had lunch and room was ready. Very nice traditional hotel worth every penny. Staff was great. Breakfast in the morning was very good. They had the buffet which started at 7:30 but we were getting an early start and was served off the menu.
Got a little noisy when the tour group came down to eat. We...
