"The rooms were spacious, the buffet breakfast delicious and the staff was very friendly. However, our key didn't work. I had to go to the lobby 7 times for this, which was a hassle. Also, in a 5 star resort there should be some things for kids to play with in the pool and more pampering amenities in the room, beside the obligatory shower cap. Also, a free shuttle to Chania would have been a big advantage. "

"The property is very outdated. The towels are over laundered and the rooms are run down. The rooms are small and severely over priced for what it accommodates. The beach has no attendants and you must wake up early to reserve a lounge chair. We waited for 30 minutes to get clean towels. I have traveled all over Europe and never stayed in such a hotel. I would never recommend this hotel. "
"We have had an amazing experience in Phos Hotel. Great service, people at the hotel were always smiley and willing to help you. Breakfast was great and there is option to also have a drink or eat at the bar of the main pool.
The swim up hotel room was TOP. Silent, clean, great pool… I would have never left. We 200% recommend this hotel!
Additionally there are many restaurants in the area at walkable distance so no need to take the care every day to go out for dinner, unless you want to go to Chania."
