"The property was very clean beautiful resort water was amazing. The restaurants and the food was horrible. We went to three different places for dinner. Food was not good and insanely expensive for the quality."

"Everyone except Danaja at the front desk, along with the valet, pool attendants, and outside bar staff, came across as dismissive and unhelpful. Danaja was the only person who showed genuine professionalism and hospitality. Check-in was supposed to be at 4 PM. I arrived a few minutes early after traveling since 3 AM and was told my room wasn’t ready and that no other rooms were available either. We ended up changing into pool attire in the lobby restroom while waiting. I didn’t receive the email saying the room was ready until 5:03 PM, and the wristbands didn’t even work to access the room until after that. The frustrating part was checkout. I requested a late checkout and was immediately denied because “other guests were checking in.” When I pointed out that I was also delayed checking in because my room wasn’t ready, staff argued with me as if it never happened. Based on the condition of the room when we entered, it definitely didn’t seem like rooms required the full 11 AM–4 PM turnaround time. I was also charged for valet even though I never used valet service, never handed over my keys, and moved my own rental car every time. The issue wasn’t the charge itself — it was the poor communication and lack of transparency. The location is great, but honestly that’s the only reason I’d consider staying here again."

"It’s and the description it says it’s4 pool in the hotel it’s not 4 pools on the resort the main pool it’s only 3 feet it’s basically a kids pool and it gets crowded during the day from 10 to 5 because the people from the cruise comes to this hotel so it’ll be no floats for the lazy river and get real crowded,stray dogs on the beach trying to eat your food so beware when taking food to the beach be aware at night and near the pizza shop they are rats in the shed We have to find out the hardway the hotel only cater to people that comes off the ships. They don’t answer the phone when you’re trying to get room service or get in contact with the front desk music stops when the Cruise ship leave. I tried to do a early checkout because of the dogs on the beach and was told I still will be charged an early termination fee."

"We stayed for 6 nights as we were recommended to come to the Hotel Riu Palace Paradise Island by our family who visit every year, and overall it was a wonderful stay. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and greeted us at every interaction. The room was lovely and the selection of food and drinks were great. The overall atmosphere was fantastic and there never seemed to be dull moment in the day, but even when there were not activities going on, the music was playing, and it allowed a nice atmosphere to sit lay back and relax and enjoy the sun and pool. The resort was clean and maintained and after a previous horrible first time experience at another all-inclusive resort in the winter time, this hopeful "redemption" trip to the Hotel Riu Palace at Paradise Island has now restored our faith and we both agreed that we would definitely return for winter/spring getaways!! Thank you so much for a great vacation!!!! We look forward to returning!"

"We obtained a very nice room upgrade but be aware of the hidden 20% fees and taxes. Front desk was attentive and house keeping was very good. Be sure to insist the porter put your bags in a locker when checking out else will be left outside (lazy). Grounds, beach and staff are amazing but note there are numerous broken lounge chairs along the beachfront - sad and poorly maintained given this high end resort. Walking at night felt safe and an on site Starbucks was perfect! Shuttle buses enabled us to experience all of Atlantis's restaurants, watermarks and casino."
