After reading reviews of Aguas Calientes in general, I was leery of the accommodations available. This was so inaccurate! The town is much better than what I read, and this hotel was the best one yet! (Better than Cuzco, Lima, and Ollantaytambo) The bed was bigger than my king at home. That alone made me smile when I walked in. I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed for three nights and loved it. It actually felt like a vacation.

The hotel was a nice welcoming space. It is convenient to the train station for those who are going to Machu Picchu. The train does run near the hotel, so you will hear it three or more times over night so if you’re a light sleeper you may want to note this. This was the second place we stayed in Aguas Caliente and the town a very active town so you can expect some noise no matter where you stay.

The hostal was only a 3 minute walk from The train station and 2 min to the bus station to line up to head to Machu Picchu. The host was wonderful! He told us what time we should be at the bus stop and even prepare a bag breakfast the night before so we can take with us in the morning. This place was great! Recommend to all. The staff go above and beyond to help you and make you feel welcome. Clean, solid breakfast, very kind staff who asked us every time they saw us if we needed anything (and offered toiletries, towels, room cleaning, directions, advice).
