We travel quite a bit (this is our 4th time in Italy) and Hotel Plank is easily the best place we’ve stayed! Mostly due to the incredible hospitality!! We had a long trek on public transportation to get to San Martino and I almost cried when we arrived and they told us they upgraded us to a suite with a balcony and mountain views (shoulder season perks)! But it didn’t stop there—Every single interaction was warm and welcoming, whether it was helping us with the bus schedule or dinner recs or...
Amazing views right outside our balcony! But the only negative about my stay was the laundry machine that kept eating away my money. Front desk was friendly and helped in everyway they could. Beds were comfortable, and the pool/sauna was a great addition!
The staff is very friendly, and responsive New bartender (Hugo I believe) is one of the best bartenders I’ve witnessed, pours passion into every cocktail. The location is beautiful and pictures don’t do it justice. Breakfast is delicious and they offer fair pricing for their dinners. Spa is very serene, and heated pool with access to fresh mountain air is a joy to experience.
In the country, quiet older villa. Bath and shower are off the hall but private for each room. Good Italian breakfast. No city tax. Tour the local cheese plant which they suggest, about 6km away. Go about 9:30 am to see the complete Panama reg. process. No charge, best individual tour to date.
This is a great hit with amazing views , great staff . I have been here twice and will go again for sure. It is not an easy trail to get to but well worth it.
Everything was excellent, the bed could use a more comfortable mattress - not bad - but given the quality of everything else, I would think an upgrade to the quality and comfort to the mattress makes sense.
Our stay was short and sweet. Beds comfortable for a good night's rest. A great restaurant "Aurora Ristorante Dinamico"right around the corner. Shopping across the street. Ilaria, our check-in host was kind and helpful. Room was clean and tidy.
It’s an experience. Comfortable, clean, friendly and hospitable hosts. Beautiful setting in the Dolomites with easy access to the Alt Via 2 trail. The owners had beautiful chickens roaming the back lawn and a coupe of English setters. There were cows with bells on in the nearby pastures which was really cool. Oh and the restaurant is great. They chef is talented and the service is wonderful. Don’t hesitate, this is an awesome place to spend a night or two.
