"This hotel is dated and not worth the price that they charge. Had to have them fix the toilet twice and have them fix the sink because it wasn’t draining. The sink shouldn’t have drainage issues at this price and management should check these things. Wallpaper peeling. I get that it’s a historic hotel but I would stay somewhere else. Old school charm is fine but not at their rates. Time has passed this hotel by."

"Absolutely love this hotel! It was my 3rd visit and the only place I’ll stay when visiting SF. Feels very safe which is always my number one concern. Everything is clean and staff is excellent. It is at the perfect location, walking distance to tons of bars, restaurants and stores. Can’t wait to be back. Thanks for the terrific hospitality !"

"Family of 7 with little ones here. We enjoyed our stay. It was nice and clean and the service was good. I didn't like that we had to pay for parking, $75/night. No breakfast and no microwave in our room. That was inconvenient. Besides that we had great time. The room had comfy beds and the bathroom was stocked."

"Hotel slightly outdated but clean and we loved the location. Near the bay and their restaurant had a nice breakfast and the restaurant a block down was also delicious. We walked to the train and rode into SF for Giants FanFest which our kids enjoyed and saved us some parking fees in SF"
