Bali with its congestion and litter isn't really all a paradise. The moment you walk into the Trans hotel that changes. This hotel really seems to "get" the customer service/satisfaction piece. Every (and I mean every) person that we encountered over our stay was gracious, helpful and genuinely happy. If you're going to stay in this area of Bali, this is the place to stay. To be honest, I don't know if it is truly a "5 star" resort as it doesn't come close to the Ritz Carlton-level, but it is a really nice place. The resort is family friendly with all kinds of activities for the kids. Plus, centrally located to good bars / restaurants I think my only real issue was the size / quality of the room for the price point. I've stayed in way larger / nicer rooms for $200 a night. Absolutely beautiful experience! I will return over and over. The breakfast buffet is gorgeous and so decadent with cooked to order omelette and French toast and pastries galore. And the staff is the kindest I’ve ever encountered. Don’t miss out on this amazing property!

We had a lovely stay at the Vira Hotel. It was in a convenient location with lovely staff and service.

This place is amazing. Beautiful property, well maintained garden. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast has many options including gluten free bread and decaffeinated coffee. No other hotels would have these last two option.

First time in Bali and I chose the Magani based over the proximity to the airport and spacious room. I arrived hours early but was greeted by the bell hop and escorted to the check-in counter. This hotel is gorgeous! There's pop art and beautiful pieces of art all around the hotel. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom area is very clean and the style is amazing. I loved this hotel so much. The area is situated in the busy part of Seminyak. You can catch a cab right in front at any time and scooter rentals are open late. The resort is located next to the beach. Great location and you can easily access local shopping and restaurants, which are about a minute away (walking) The best part of the resort is the professionalism of the entire staff. Mamaka turned out to be an excellent place to stay for us. We needed something close to the airport for a few nights. The rooms were Clean and the staff were attentive . The breakfasts were wonderful as was the pool. We had trouble with our for not locking twice and the staff took care of it quickly. The negative aspects were the slow internet in our room and the loud music at night. We had super long flights and a 15 hour time difference so we went to sleep early.
