Our stay at the John Rast house was truly wonderful. The hosts have taken such meticulous care saving and restoring this historical gem of a property, and are truly lovely humans. They took time with us to share so much wonderful detail not only about the house and the family, but the town of Roseburg as well. We highly recommend a visit here to anyone looking to step back into the past and experience a peak into the origins of the area. Lastly, breakfast was wonderful and the rooms are lovely!
This place is amazing, they think of all the little touches to make it comfortable. They even have a can opener and a corkscrew. The little fireplace heater was so cute. The staff was so helpful! I can’t say enough nice things about here. The only thing they need is more cabins!
We have stayed at Union Creek Resort many times, and have enjoyed them every time! On this trip, there were 10 of us. This time, the staff was especially helpful. I asked for and received early check-in. I noticed that some of the pots were showing signs of excessive wear, and the staff immediately replaced the whole set. I left a bag at the cabin after departure and it was mailed to me quickly. Finally, on our last night we shared a pie from Beckie's Cafe. What a great trip!
A family owned lodge that is well maintained. I felt safe being a solo female traveler. Restaurant s, gas stations, minimarts, the post office are within walking distance.
Check in was fast and easy. Our breakfast was delicious. They have a cook on site and he made our breakfast. YUMMY!! You gotta stay just to try his cooking!!! We will be back
Cute little place! Especially liked the patio and outside areas. Inside needs a few finishing touches like coat hooks on back of doors, but place is very new, clean and worked great for our few days there.
A very comfortable stay and perfect for what we needed. Even though there were multiple families staying there, our room was relatively quiet and we enjoyed ourselves. The river view was lovely. You can't even hear the highway even though it is not that far away.
