Victorian mansions line streets where horse-drawn carriages clip-clop past colorful beach cottages. Climb the lighthouse, spot migrating birds, or relax on pristine beaches before savoring fresh seafood.
Cute little beach town. Very slow in the off season but the rates for a quiet getaway are unbeatable! Check out the lobster house if you're in town- it was FABULOUS! And Ostara's coffee spot- great dirty chai and pork roll bagel breakfast sandwich.

We did walk along the beach. We visited the lighthouse, we climbed the 199 stairs to the top and looked out over the area, very nice. We also visited the Barefoot Bar on Beach Ave. and we recommend visiting that bar. Sean was a great bartender.

Cape May has so much to offer. The beaches are wide and pleasant, there are plenty of food options available and the entire town is totally walkable. The only time we drove our car was to Sunset Beach and to the Ferry.

Love Cape May! Its surrounded by beautiful clean beaches (i.e northern part of the beach, southern tip, bay side). Lots of places to eat and nice hotels to stay at.

Study your choices carefully, lots of good options. It's a "resort town" which means crowded and over-priced. Parking is easy to navigate but expensive. We were here for spring migration birding, it's the only reason for us to ever return.

Don't go in the summer. When we went in Sept, fewer crowds although some of the restaurants were closed for the season. You have to pay for most parking but the BnB has parking included.
"We loved the spacious clean room and the bath was beautiful! The pool outside was clean and the staff very helpful. They also offer free umbrella, chairs, and 2 towels per room for the beach. Only downside was the parking was a bit tight, but we managed to find a spot each time we returned. Will come here again!"
"We had an issue in our room. Tub water was brown and there was a dog poop left next to the bed. We reported both things but nothing was done. I felt something could have been adjusted. I cleaned up the poo but we could not use the bath."
"We enjoyed and nice family vacation at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, staff super friendly and helpful. The shuttle and use of beach chairs/umbrellas with set up from staff added a nice touch. Will definitely come back again! "
"I love the modern look to our apartment. Everything was very clean and I think the highlight for the kids was the pool. I would definitely recommend family and friends to stay here!"
