"This was my first stay at this hotel. I decided to upgrade to a room with a view and soaking tub-it was well worth the additional cost! The room was spacious, clean, beautifully designed, and had an amazing view of the beach and courtyard area. I enjoyed sitting out on the balcony watching the ocean. The bed was comfortable though the sheets could be softer; however, that's a minor issue. The hotel is modern yet casual and upscale. The lobby was a nice area to relax and have a drink. It opened up to an outdoor area with seating, a fireplace, and an expansive green space, likely used for weddings. The hotel is across the street from the beach and an amphitheater ...so it does get loud at night. Guests have access to this hotel and the sister hotel across the street, which is equally nice. Both hotels compliment one another but Seabird is definitely more family oriented but still elevated. I liked being able to walk around to different shops and restaurants in the area as well. I would definitely stay here again. "
"I was expecting something worse, but the room inside was big and comfortable. We had so much space with two king beds and a couch. Every day room was cleaned and coffee for breakfast was really good . We enjoyed our stay. Thanks to the stuff for a comfortable vacation. "
"A friend and I went to Oceanside for a concert at the new Frontwave Arena and didn’t want to drive back to Orange County after the show so we booked a room at the Oceanside Inn and Suites. We just wanted a clean and affordable place to stay where we didn’t need a car since we opted to take the train. The previous reviews were mixed with some saying to run away from this hotel to 5 stars. We took our chances and decided to try it. I’m so glad we did. It is definitely a little older, yet full of charm. The owners are amazing and very helpful. We arrived a little early but the owners not only let us check-in, they let us choose our room! Our room had a small living room area, a small kitchen area with a microwave and a bedroom with a partition between the two beds so each of us had a little privacy. Despite a little bit of wear and tear as to be expected with an older property if was very clean. If you’re looking for the Four Seasons this isn’t it however the owners were so warm and welcoming we sure felt like we were staying at one! "
