Learn more about Big Pine Key
Forget the glitz of Key West – Big Pine Key offers the Florida Keys at their most authentic. Kayak through mangrove tunnels where tiny Key deer (found nowhere else on earth) might peek from the shoreline. The Blue Hole, an abandoned quarry turned freshwater lake, attracts alligators and visitors alike. Snorkel Looe Key's reef where colorful fish dart through coral formations. Bahia Honda State Park boasts beaches ranked among Florida's finest, with shallow waters perfect for novice swimmers. Loggerhead Beach provides a quieter alternative to Calusa Beach. The laid-back atmosphere extends to local fish shacks where the catch arrives hours before hitting your plate. Bring binoculars – the bird watching rivals the people watching.

The resort fee gives you access to rent various things which helped us to have a nice beach day at a beach recommended by the staff. The infinity pool is beautiful and located near the bar, which is nice! There are actually multiple pools on property. We loved our stay and will be back!"
