Unspoiled by tourism! The beach is so clean, the golf courses are well kept and eco-friendly. It's been 50 years since my first visit to the island. I am so pleased to see that the local residents and government are taking such good care of this gem.

Jekyll has everything you need for a beach vacation without the swarms of people. From the historic district to shopping/dining to activities we even took some time to visit Driftwood Beach and took a short drive to see St. Simons also.

Jekyll Island is our go-to beach destination. It is a beautiful place to visit, and we absolutely love Driftwood Beach, at sunrise! It is a hot spot for photographers and you are guaranteed to come away with some amazing photos!

A hidden gem -- keep it that way! The ability to feel like you had space in the world as you walked relatively deserted beaches was very decompressing. Will return in the future!

Loved Jekyll Island. We visited during February so did not enjoy the pool or surf. But there is so much to do -- putt-putt, bike rentals, exploring Driftwood Beach and other beaches. We will be back.

Ive been visiting the Island since i was kid, fishing with my parents. I've been away for 20+ years and now I get to introduce my kids to my childhood experiences. I also took them to Summer Waves, which was fun as it was when I was a kid!!!

I love Jekyll and go every year but it seems that it is starting to get very crowded and that is a shame, please keep it quiet and quaint for those who love nature and relaxation.
"Days Inn is "old school" which is perfect for the beach. Pool was great, rooms clean, staff helpful. Only suggestion I would make is to install "webbing" on the beach access walkway. Sand is brutally hot. Webbing would be a plus.Thank you for a very nice stay!"
"This is an amazing property. The staff were all incredible, the rooms were clean and exceptionally comfortable. The location can't be beat, right on the beach and within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and other amenities. I will stay here again when I next get to Jekyll Island. "
