We enjoyed breakfast at Clover and Mug in the adjacent shopping center. We really loved Kua Bay for playing in the surf. We used My Kona Adventures for an amazing night snorkel with manta rays (the whole point of our trip since Kilauea had paused)

By and large, good; can't beat the beauty and weather. Kailua waterfront must have been really popular during the Rat Pack era. Kona coffee country is engaging to visit, snorkeling and whale watching were fantastic.

It's difficult to find parking in the area and you almost always have to pay to park. Everything is really close together. It's pretty and right on the ocean, and the shopping area is very walkable.

The night shorkeling with the manta rays and the Blue Hawaiian helicoptor tour of the island were top highlights of our multi-island Hawaiian vacation

Seen whales, turtles and wildlife. Tide is low this time of year(February) so snorkeling isn't so great. Amazing sunsets.

Keauhou shopping centre is just about walkable, and convenient for groceries, eateries and a pharmacy. Would also recommend Mountain Thunder coffee plantation for the tours, the nature walk, and, of course, the coffee!

Very nice place to visit. Lots of things to see and do. Only negative comment is very expensive eating out was very pricey even fast food and grocery were expensive.
"The hotel was BEAUTIFUL, staff were friendly, efficient, and professional. I especially liked that the front desk clerk upgraded our room, so we had a sleeping area, and a living area as well as 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies. It was our anniversary and the room upgrade just put it over the top! I also liked that the hotel has a laundry center- so we were able to wash/dry our clothes. The food at the resort restaurant was a bit pricey, and nothign special to equate to the price. However, I was glad I purchased the VIP package which came with breakfast, happy hour and valet parking. Happy Hour was my favorite! The food was DELICIOUS and the staff at the Voyager Club were the best (Thank you-Tessa, Sharlaine and Randy-breakfast). "
"This is a perfect location! Close to dining, shopping and shave ice. The room was comfortable and the property was great. We would absolutely stay here again."
