If you don't mind one market one tasting room one walkable vineyard a few hikes right out of the parking lot, historic and quaint with just one dinner spot one bakery coffee shop and the lodge being set amongst grassy riverbank. To me that's perfect.

Such a charming village. I only wish we could have spent more time there on the weekend, as that's when most of the local businesses seem to spring to life.

Small town with a few options and all great. Close to Sonoma, but it feels miles away.

Some wonderful restaurants have shut , so there's not much right in town, but a nice market and some dinning options down the road about 20mins away

This is a place to sleep, not a destination such as Carmel. There are limited food options and shops. The real draw is Jack London. And an affordable motel (NOT a lodge).

"We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Centro! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The hotel itself is beautifully designed—modern, clean, and stylish with thoughtful touches throughout. Our room was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, with cozy bedding and a sleek bathroom.
The location is ideal—just minutes from downtown Santa Rosa and an easy drive to nearby wineries and Safari West. We also appreciated the on-site restaurant and bar, which made it easy to relax after a day of exploring.
Every detail, from the friendly service to the relaxing ambiance, made this stay feel special. We’ll definitely be returning the next time we’re in Sonoma Wine Country. Highly recommend!
