Paddle a kayak across the serene waters of Colorado's largest natural lake, spotting osprey and moose along the shore. Hike through wildflower-filled meadows in Rocky Mountain National Park, then return to town for homemade fudge and locally crafted souvenirs.
Grand Lake was a fun stay. Its walkable, beautiful, and has a great mix of places for grownups as well as families. It's also minutes away from loads of hiking, fishing, swimming, boating, and RMNP (which is why I usually stay there.)

Excellent
A great little town that actually feels like a mountain/lake town and isn't ridiculously crowded or touristy. Had some good food and listened to some good live music (shoutout to Caleb Wilbourne)

Because it was off season it wasnt as crowded as it would be in the summer months although alot of businsses are already closed also. Grand lake and surrounding areas have always been beautiful but the fires have taken a toll around the area.

The town is cute & quaint. Had fun kayaking on the lake but the water is too cold to swim in my opinion

Love the lake. Good restaurants are pretty scarce. Shopping prices have doubled since our last trip.

Grand Lake is a small town - although there is a fairly well-provisioned market, you might want to bring groceries with you.

Grand Lake is great, but many of the dining options are closed on Mondays. Just be aware of this as you plan :) The property is not walking distance from the Grand Lake downtown area, but it is not a long drive either.
"We booked this cabin last minute and overall very happy with the stay. Services on the property ensure you would not have to leave. Dining is higher on the pay scale but quality matched the price. We stayed in the E2 cabin which was conjoined with another. They are smaller but adequate for two people and very clean. Grand Lake itself is a gem and we plan to return."
"My Wife and I had a great Stay and Everything was easy going from Booking to allowing our Pets to come and stay as well.
Also Nena who is the Caretaker/House keeper was extremely helpful and very Friendly. We did not get a Chance to say Thank you due to us leaving so Early and will also be mailing a Thank you card with Appreciation tip for all her help. We love visiting Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake. We will definitely be booking a stay next year when we come back to Visit. We are from The Western slope of Colorado so the Trip to Grand Lake was not long!
Thank you again for a great place to stay and Friendly service.

"Perfect location for a young family with little ones. Right on the lake and couple hundred feet to beach/boat rental , icecream, park, great food/drinks. It’s not brand new and could use a little updating but it was cozy and great bang for the buck. "
