Charming! We had fun exploring the lake and shops - in particular Lavender Blue, with its two friendly owners and beautiful offerings. We ate 2x at The Pewter Spoon - a small, delicious cafe. And the book sale at the Cazenovia Library was great!

Most everything was closed, found only 1 restaurant open and they were closing the next day. I understand closing for the winter but weather was 70 degrees and the trees were not at prime colors yet.

Lots of deer so keep your lights on when you travel. Oneida is not far and there were several places to eat. Seven Stone Steps was a nice surprise.
"Room was clean and you can tell it was recently updated. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. If I need to come back to this area I would stay here again. "
