Frame Lake Trail offers wilderness within city limits, while the quirky-named Ragged Ass Road provides the perfect photo opportunity. Chateau Nova Yellowknife
"Good place"
Nova Inn Yellowknife
"This was our first trip to Yellowknife, and we were prepared to "rough it". The hotel definitely shows signs of hard use, but the staff go above and beyond to keep the property maintained. Our room was dated, but very clean, and we appreciated the heavy blackout curtains. From our hotel it was a 15minute walk to Old Town or Downtown, and we didn't walk alone but felt safe. There was major road construction in front (Aug 2026) but they put us on the top floor on the opposite side and we couldn't hear it. There is an excellent restaurant on the 3rd floor (Wing Freak - I did a separate google review). Overall this hotel exceeded our expectations."

"Sophia was excellent. Friendly and extremely helpful. The location was good, walking distance to pretty much everywhere. The coffee was good and the biscuits were a nice treat. We already told her we will stay here again next year:) Thank you Sophia!"
Super 8 by Wyndham Yellowknife
"It was a good room and close to the Stanton Hospital and grocery stores and restaurants if they are needed"
Capital Suites Yellowknife
"Standard room. Clean and had what we needed for a night. No bottled water. Appreciate that they had shuttle service and wifi."
