"The hotel was a bit run down. Bed was super uncomfortable gave me a terrible ache in the neck and hips plus it was on a hollow metal box so if you moved, it squeaked moaned and moved! Pool was more of a sauna terrible for any person to enjoy. Shower pressure was super slow. Their great breakfast was not so hot. Standard at any hotel serving food. So probably not going to stay here again."

"Staff is friendly and the rooms were very clean. The property is really run down. It seems they are working on it though. I could hear guests running around in rooms all night. It seems the walls are very thin. Also, there internet blocks you from going to certain websites. I'm not sure on safety There were run down cars in the parking lot and some of the guests appeared shady. The entire hotel is non-smoking but when I arrived one of the guests was smoking what smelled like marijuana in one of their room windows. I found one of the side access doors that is supposed to remain closed propped open with a rock. The hotel is way over priced. It was nearly $90 a night after taxes. For condition and everything else this place should be no more than $50-$60. I was glad my family had not accompanied me because we would have had to stay elsewhere. The AC and plumbing did work well. Next time I am in Morehead I will stay elsewhere "

"I had to cut my stay short due to 50 kids and their supervisors staying on the 2nd floor above me and the noise of busy feet. However, I understand fair housing rules and the staff was empathetic, and issued a refund. I wasn't happy I was charged a 2nd night because I checked out after 3pm, but that is when the noise started, if it started earlier I would have checked out earlier. But the staff is always great and I will always stay there when in Kentucky. I will probably ask for a 2nd floor however to avoid the same issue, but they are great there!!"

"Yes breakfast was fine but pool was slimy unable to use it pool closes at 9 at night so many kids were in it that by time they cleared out water was slimy and couldnt use pool that was only reason i. Chose stay there i could went anywhere without pool"

"For the most part things were great. I did have an issue with the water being shut off while I was getting a shower in the morning. Parking was completely full and I had to park across the street by Starbucks. And there wasn’t enough table seating at breakfast. The options were either a large high top or couch level. So, either put little kids on awkward tall chairs or adults hunch over to eat their food at a coffee table. "

"The staff was very polite, very helpful and everything was clean and just as I would expect from Holiday Inn. The best part of the stay was the breakfast, it was best I’ve ever had during a hotel stay. The breakfast was fresh, great tasting and there was something for everyone to eat, 10/10. The breakfast staff worked non stop cleaning and keeping all things stocked. Great stay, highly recommended."
