Mineral Wells is unique in NW Texas, and well worth a visit. Vintage architecture, quirky charm, history, beautiful murals, and beautiful lakes are nearby. It's about to "blow up" I think, so you might want to see it now.

Mineral Wells has created a very friendly, walkable downtown area with shops of every description. The colorful murals are so popular and appealing.

It is an up and coming small town. There is lots of grown and revitalization. We were impressed with all of the history. We plans on going back soon. The story of the water is unique.

They are working very hard to be a first rate tourist location, and are doing an excellent job of it. The Crazy Water Hotel is top-of-the-line/4 to 5 star elegance. Their restaurant, Second Bar + Kitchen, is also top notch. We definitely will return.

I like staying in this little town there are things to do or not if you just want to kick back and rest
"Room was large, comfortable and quiet except for traffic noise in morning. This very loud morning traffic is the reason for the 4 stars. Breakfast was good--about average for this type of hotel."
"Mineral Wells is an historical town, and the Crazy Water Hotel has a story.
It has been fully renovated, and it is beautiful. It has a restaurant, full kitchen and supplies, and is downtown close to many other attractions."
"Our second time to stay here when visiting family in Weatherford. The rooms are well appointed with a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. The beds are comfortable with great pillows and comforters. It has a nice indoor pool and hot tub, and a bar in the lobby. Like most places, it could use some updates but overall, it’s a great stay. Will stay again. "
